Since the journal Advancements in Life Sciences was put “On-Hold” by Web of Science on March 25, 2025, due to quality concerns, the editorial board has undertaken a comprehensive series of measures. These include a retrospective five-year inquiry (2021–2025), corrective actions where required, strengthened editorial oversight, and, most importantly, the adoption of significant policy reforms. We are very excited to annouce that Advancements in Life Sciences and Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology, University of the Punjab, Lahore are organizing one day Web of Sciences conference entitled “International Scholarly Publishing from Pakistan” at National Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology, Lahore on 11th March 2019 collaboration with HEC.
Just after two years from the date of first issue the Journal “Advancements in Life Sciences (ALS)” has been recognized by the HEC in “Y” category. The ALS has already been indexed by the ISI web of science and we are confident that ALS will get the impact factor in the next year.

Advancements in Life Sciences has got indexed for coverage in the Thomson Reuters: Emerging Sources Citation Index, which is the New Edition of the Web of Science. This means that all articles published in the journal will be indexed in the Web of Science.
